Allan is responsible to members for management of the staff, as well as enabling the Board of Governors, House of Delegates, committees and sections to develop and implement policy. He represents the association before the General Assembly, agencies and related organizations.
Allan has a bachelor of arts in political science from Lambuth University and a law degree from the University of Tennessee College of Law. He was with the Tennessee Association of Legal Services for seven years and was executive director of the Nashville Bar Association for 12 years.

Sharon is the voice of the TBA. When you call the general number, you usually will be greeted by Sharon’s kind and helpful voice. In addition to answering the phones, she greets visitors, orders office supplies, sorts the mail and tries to keep up with where the rest of the staff is — not an easy job, she will tell you. She answers hundreds of questions every day from callers. She also helps the Journal staff with the Bulletin Board section of the magazine by checking memberships, and she fulfills requests for back articles. She also tallies incoming money and updates membership information in the database. |

Angie Bianchi leads the emerging webcasting program at the Tennessee Bar Association. She coordinates video programs at the Tennessee Bar Center and on location. In addition, she works with speakers and staff to coordinate audio/visual programming.
Angie is a native of Ohio, where she earned her degree at Ohio Northern University. Before coming to the TBA, she worked producing programming from the Tennessee General Assembly and at Brunswick Area Television.

As a coordinator for the TBA's TennBarU CLE programs, Kaisha is the point person in the production of many of the TBA's educational programs. Kaisha works with course producers to make sure all of the materials are ready for participants and all of the many other logistical issues that need to be put in place to ensure a high quality educational experience for all attendees.
A Kingsport native, Kaisha graduated from the University of Tennessee with a concentration in criminal justice and has worked as a probation officer in Atlanta and as a legal associate with the Gwinnett County Solicitor's office.

Therese is in charge of the development and production of continuing education seminars at the TBA's TennBarU. In addition, she oversees the planning and coordination of all TBA meetings, including the annual TBA Convention and the Leadership Summit.
A Nashville native, Therese brings to the TBA a strong background of planning and coordination of educational programming. Immediately before coming to the TBA, she was director of meetings and special events for Foundations Associates. She also coordinated production for a number of television and film crews while working in Los Angeles. |

As Publications Coordinator, Landry juggles many of the print and online products produced by the Tennessee Bar Association, including the Tennessee Bar Journal, section newsletters and brochures. He's also the point person for handling advertising for these publications.
Before coming to the TBA, Landry worked as a graphics and design professional for more than 10 years, spending time at the Nashville Scene newspaper, as well as two Nashville firms involved in health care education and intelligence. He is also active in the Nashville arts community, having served on the board of the Ruby Green Contemporary Arts Center and as a founding member of the "untitled" art cooperative.

Anjanette works with the Tennessee Legal Community Foundation on establishing local youth court programs across the state. These programs have proven successful in many states and Anjanette is excited to be a part of the development of this program in Tennessee.
Anjanette holds degrees in international relations and public relations from Middle Tennessee State University. Before becoming Youth Court Coordinator, she worked in programs and community development at the First Amendment Center in Nashville. |

As Programs and Committees Coordinator, Sarah works with Lynn Pointer to keep up with the TBA's 27 sections and more than a dozen committees. Her work involves coordinating and attending section and committee meetings, assisting with section newsletters and distributing materials.
Sarah earned her bachelors degree at the Mississippi University for Women and a graduate degree in public service management from Cumberland University. Prior to coming to the TBA she was a community investment manager with the United Way in Nashville. |

If you have a financial question, invoice or need reimbursement from the TBA, you’ll want to call Pam. She performs all accounting functions for the TBA. She also is the coordinator for the Administrative Circle, the group of employees who support the administration of the TBA.
Before coming to the TBA, Pam worked for the Bank of America for 16 years. The Nashville native held a number of different positions with the bank during that time, including stints in the credit card division, the home equity division and the installment loan division.

As administrative assistant to TBA Executive Director Allan Ramsaur, Jenny works closely with the TBA Board of Governors, the House of Delegates and other committees and governing bodies.
Jenny has considerable experience in this area, previously providing administrative support to the YMCA's senior staff. She is also an avid photographer — holding a degree from Austin Peay in fine arts with emphasis in photography — and an active traveler. Often she combines her two loves, recording her visits around the U.S. and abroad in photos.

Barry assists in management of the TBA staff and serves as coordinator for the Communications Circle. He also oversees TBALink, the TBA's web site, and TBA Today, the association's daily electronic newsletter.
Barry has journalism and political science degrees from Baylor University in Waco, Texas, and a master’s degree in political science from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. He has spent most of his career working in journalism, most recently at The Charlotte Observer. |

Before becoming director of the TBA’s Leadership Law program, Monica Mackie served as the TBA’s finance administrator and leader of the Finance and Administration Circle. Prior to joining the TBA, she was involved in the management of several Nashville law firms. |

As the TBA's Membership Director, she works to make sure you're able to receive all of the benefits that come with your membership. In addition to this, Colleen also coordinates campaigns to recruit new members to the TBA.
With a bachelor of arts degree from Kent State University, this Buckeye has acquired experience in education, video production and publishing.

The TBA has 27 sections and somebody has to keep up with them all! Lynn works with Sarah Hayman to do just that. She also assists about 12 committees, coordinating and attending section and committee meetings, assisting with section newsletters and distributing materials. As a circle leader, Lynn also supervises all TBA staff members involved in program planning and presentation.
Lynn has a bachelor of arts in management and human resources from Trevecca University. She is a former financial administrator in the Metro Public Defenders Office.

Becky is the staff liaison to the Access to Justice Committee. She works to facilitate cooperation between the private bar, the courts, the legal services community, and other nonprofit service providers to promote greater access to the courts and to legal services. She also encourages and supports statewide pro bono and community education and outreach initiatives.
A graduate of the University of Oklahoma's College of Law, Becky practiced law in Oklahoma for about 10 years and joined the TBA in 2002 after working as a Research Associate with the Office of Business & Economic Research at Tennessee State University. Becky held that position at TSU while completing her Masters in Public Administration and was the primary researcher for the Disproportionate Minority Confinement Study for the Tennessee Commission on Children & Youth.

To find out about writing an article for the Tennessee Bar Journal, Suzanne is where you can start. Contact her for writer’s guidelines, or send the article to her. She works with a seven-member editorial board to decide what will and will not be published, as well as working with the publications coordinator on design and production. In addition, Suzanne helps produce the TBA Today daily electronic newsletter.

April is one of the voices you'll hear if you call in — or send us an email — with a question on services or resources. She is also a key member of our finance team, handling registrations for CLE programs, conventions and other events as part of her duties coordinating accounts receivable.
Before coming to the TBA, April developed her expertise in accounts receivable at a number of companies in Nashville and Florida.

As director of the TBA's Young Lawyers Division, Stacey works closely with the YLD leadership on its public service projects — such as the state High School Mock Trial Competition and Law Day poster and essay competitions — and coordinates the regular operations of the YLD. In addition, Stacey coordinates communications with the media across Tennessee and helps produce the TBA Today daily electronic newsletter.
Before coming to the TBA, Stacey worked on Capitol Hill for 10 years. In Washington, she served as a legislative analyst with the House Republican Conference and later as legislative director for U.S. Rep. Asa Hutchinson and senior advisor for U.S. Rep. John Boozman. A native of Texas, she holds a political science degree from Wheaton College. |

Britt is a Michigan native. She received her bachelor of arts in Communication Studies at Luther College in Decorah, Iowa. Prior to joining the TBA, Britt worked for the Michigan Women’s Commission, with Rep. Joan Bauer of the Michigan House of Representatives, and the annual campaign at Luther College for her graduating class. She also worked in the development office at the Nashville Symphony. |
