2010 Law Day winners announced

The YLD has announced the winners of the 2010 Tennessee Law Day Art and Essay Competitions. The theme of this year's contest -- "Law in the 21st Century: Enduring Traditions, Emerging Challenges" -- was designed to spark students' thinking about how society can honor long-standing traditions in the law while addressing new issues and situations that might challenge "old ways" of doing things.

2010 Public Service Projects announced
Each year in conjunction with Law Day, lawyers across the state participate in projects designed to serve the public. Many of this year's projects reflect the TBA Young Lawyers Division's commitment to CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates). Please contact the district representative in your area for more details and information about participating in these events.
